I totally miss those old junior-high jokes with the really long, hideously contrived plot that sets up a punchline that’s a spoonerism of a popular saying:

  • “Silly rabbi, kicks are for Trids.”
  • “Abscess makes the fart go ‘Honda.’”
  • “If the Foo shits, wear it.”
  • “That’s a long way to tip a Rary.”
  • “I left my harp in Sam Clam’s Disco.”
  • “It’s a knick-knack, Paddywhack. Give the frog a loan.”

Great way to get accustomed to being the only person in the room laughing at your own joke. An experience Twitter/Favrd so deliciously recreates.
